BELL JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: TRAINING COORDINATOR Title: Training Coordinator Locations: New York Reports To: Director of Training
Position Overview: This position provides an opportunity to contribute to one of the top 25 organizations changing the world (according to Fast Company Magazine). BELL is rapidly expanding and you could be a part of that growth. Change the life of a child by joining the BELL team. As a member of the Training team, the Training Coordinator works closely with the Director of Training and the Training Department to support BELL Training events nationally. Responsibilities include event logistics, training paperwork, and ensuring the supply of necessary materials.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a love for children and a commitment to BELL’s mission and educational approach (see www.bellnational.org). A Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience with event planning is required. Excellent organizational and communication skills are a must, along with a positive attitude, sense of humor, and ability to work on a team, as well as independently. Applicants should be familiar with office technology and software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email. Should be flexible, reliable and willing to work weekends (about 15 weekends per year). Must be able to lift 50-pound boxes and willing to do whatever necessary to get the job done well. Must be able to learn quickly and work in a fast paced environment. Experience working with elementary school children is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
