BELL's e-learning program named the "Blended Learning & Performance Project of the Year" by Training Magazine.

The e-Learning and Professional Development program developed by our training department has been named the “Blended Learning & Performance Project of the Year” by Training Magazine. The honor was given as part of the magazine’s Training Technology in Action (TIA) Awards and BELL's training team was recognized for this achievement at a cocktail reception and awards program on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in San Jose, California. As well as being honored at the reception, the training program is highlighted in a feature article in the November/December 2008 issue of Training Magazine.

The judges of the TIA Awards felt that BELL's training was impressive in that it:
· Had an intriguing opening home page.
· Was strategic about extending the program without staff.
· Used an interesting combination of tools.
· Produced clear cost savings and increased capacity.
· Led to extensive feedback and high learner and management satisfaction.
· Promoted interactivity.

The other four 2008 Technology in Action award winners are Microsoft, Accenture, US Joint Forces Command Joint Warfighting Center, and Reology Corporation.
